WORK IMMERSION Performance Tasks


Performance Task #1 HOW TO BEHAVE IN THE WORKPLACE (40 PTS)

 

Goal: The learner is able to write an essay how to conduct oneself inside a company or business establishment.

Eventually, when you become a responsible adult, you will find yourself in the workplace. Look back on all of the learning activities and write an essay how to conduct yourself inside a company or organization. Follow the format below:

            1st paragraph – Describe the meaning of work in your life and the kind of work you dream to have

2nd paragraph – Discuss the ethics that you will observe once you are already working, give specific behaviors that will demonstrate these work ethics

3rd paragraph – Discuss the importance of safety in the workplace, give specific behaviors that will ensure safety in the workplace

4th paragraph – Discuss your rights and responsibilities in the workplace, how you will strike a balance between the two

5th paragraph – Discuss the importance of maintaining the confidentiality in the workplace, cite specific behavior that you will observe to maintain confidentiality

6th paragraph – Discuss how you will avoid conflict in the workplace and how you will handle conflict if it arises in the workplace

7th paragraph – Explain why you need know how to behave inside a company or organization, how these behaviors can make you a professional

Performance Task #2 MY APPLICATION LETTER (25 PTS)

 

Goal: The learner is able to write an application letter.

Write an application letter for a job that you can apply given your current qualifications. Follow the format given in LAS 6 How to Write an Application Letter.

Performance Task #3 MY RESUME (30 PTS)

 

Goal: The learner is able to write resume.

Write a resume to accompany your application letter for a job that you can apply given your current qualifications. Follow the format given in LAS 7 How to Write a Resume.

Required information: Name, address, cell phone number, email, education, skills, project experience, and references.

 

Additional information: Work experiences and summary of qualifications

Performance Task #4 FLOWCHART - HOW TO SECURE CLEARANCES (25 PTS)

Goal: The learner is able to determine how clearance documents are secured.

Make your own flowchart and provide a sample of each clearance document.

1.     Flowchart - How to Get a Barangay Clearance with sample barangay clearance

2.     Flowchart - How to Get a Police Clearance with sample police clearance

3.     Flowchart - How to Get a Mayor’s Clearance with sample mayor’s clearance

4.     Flowchart - How to Get a Medical Certificate with sample medical certificate
